Sometimes there are signs that make you feel so much better about everything. After picking up the kids from daycare we drove under a big black cloud racing raindrops into our driveway. When we pulled up I mentioned to my son that we might see a rainbow since the sun was in the perfect position on the back side of the rain cloud. All the other clouds were white and puffy so we knew whatever rain we got would only last for a minute. Just as we started to get out of the car the rain started coming down in sheets. We stumbled inside wet and laughing. I put my bags down then ran back to the front window to see if there was a rainbow. I hollered to my son to run back to me so we could watch it together. Neither of us could stand watching from inside so we bolted out the door and into the rain. No sooner did we get out than the cloud passed over and took the pouring rain with it. Leaving the remainder of the rainbow for us to enjoy. Together.
