Ah…. Mother Nature. Always reminding us not to get too comfortable. Today she blasted us with heat and humidity that rivals the most tropical of climates. Not that I’m complaining. In fact this type of weather doesn’t bother me. Much. The forecast of 3 straight days of it might get to me but hey, that’s what kidde pools and blenders with ice cold margaritas are for! Anyway, today there was quite a few clouds threatening thunderstorms on my way home from work. The sun kept peeking in and out offering up nice slices of side lighting.  As I drove down my street I noticed this crab apple tree is already bearing fruit. It was quite beautiful with that sun filtering through the leaves and glinting off the droplets of water left from a shower earlier. Yet I couldn’t help but think, in only a couple short months this heat will be a distant memory and we’ll be plucking ripe red apples off local apple trees thinking about what a beautiful season Fall is.
