Photo blog day 325, July 13, 2011

So… I wasted time tonight. Not on purpose, one of my biggest pet peeves is wasted time. No… the plan was for me to stop at Home Depot on the way home to pick up some things for tonight’s house project. I got all the way there and realized. I.Forgot. My. Wallet. At work. Grr… So, I decided I would try not to waste the trip. I grabbed my camera and headed to the garden center. I didn’t want another floral shot so I thought I would try something different for me. I took 13 shots of these flowers and merged them together with the intention of making them look impressionistic. It didn’t quite meet my expectations so I added a clouds filter to make it look a little more watercolor-ish. Also, inspired by Mike Moruzi blographer behind “In Search of Style” [click here for a link to his blog] I threw some grungy texture on top and voila! Impressionistic photography. Like it or not it’s today’s post.
