A simple post today. This peony bush is the first real thing I planted after we moved into our current house. Well, ok, I bought it at a garden sale and my mother in-law finally planted it for me, but I had the intent. I didn’t think it would survive this winter with about 16 feet of plowed snow on top of it but it persevered!  And some people think Peonies are finicky. I llllllooooooovvve the smell of peonies so I’m thrilled this bush made it through the winter.
