The majority of the tulips have now passed as we speed through spring and gear up for summer. Hard to believe that after four long months of waiting for spring to come (I’m totally not counting the whole first month of “spring” since it snowed practically every other day!) and we only have a few short weeks of these beautiful blooms. At work in Springfield the tulips{click} have all died off. I have a few stragglers in my little garden left by my mother in-law. This Late Bloomer was waiting for me after the rain we’ve had the last few days. I liked the way the drops beaded up at the base of the flower, ready to drip at any second.

  1. Very nice. I like the abstract nature of this shot.
