I am totally struggling today for a post idea. And it has been a while since I tried something different. I’ve seen images before with macro shots of lightbulb filaments and I’ve always wanted to do it. I don’t have a proper macro lens so I used the closest thing I have to one which is my Sigma 70-200 f2.8 lens. Zoomed out to 200 it will switch to “macro” if you are within a few feet of the subject. So here it is, my best attempt. I’d like to try this the right way next time which I think involves breaking the glass off so the filament is exposed.
