Photo blog day 216, March 17, 2011

I absolutely love  pretty much anything synchronized. Swimming, dancing, singing, you name it. Every year on St. Patrick’s day a girls Irish Dance troupe hits the center court of the Tower Square (aka BayState West) in Downtown Springfield. Since nothing breaks up the monotony of a 365 project like a holiday I was 100% certain I would be watching the dancers today. I would have gone anyways because umm? Irish Dancing? Yes, synchronized. I caught some of the younger girls standing by watching the senior girls nail their moves and thought how cute they looked. The older girls in the background and just the stance of the younger girls, a few confident, one bored, and one clearly standing like she’s nervous.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!!!!!

  1. What a great photo. Those Celtic outfits made such a crisp black and white, and you’re right, the body language from those stances tell so much. I’ve paged through most of your blog and love the aesthetic quality you pull out from things most people would pass by as commonplace.
