Photo blog day 207, March 8, 2011

I am beginning to see more and more signs of life. I took a short walk with the kids today [it’s colder than it looks outside!] and spied these things growing near the outlet of the drain under my driveway. No doubt they are some obnoxious swamp like week that we curse during the summer for clogging the drainage from the driveway. But at least for today I think they are as beautiful as the most rare orchid only because they are proof that life still exists beneath these glacier size mounds of snow.  One day closer.
