Photo blog day 131, December 22, 2010

Today was the first full day of winter and other than being REALLY cold out you wouldn’t know it.  There isn’t any snow on the ground, the sleds are still in the garage, and the only reason we put boots on the kids is because it is REALLY cold out.  Did I mention that it’s REALLY cold out??  But life down at the brook (Big Brook to be specific) is a different story.  The ice around the edges of the water makes me shiver just to look at it.  With my new found I’m-not-hating-winter attitude I am actually looking forward to the snow so I can get back to the brook and see how it is transformed into a winter wonderland.

Happy Winter!
