Big Mamou

Photo blog day 132, December 23, 2010

You might think my posts are trending toward a foodie blog with all the posts I’m making about good eats lately but I just can’t help it!  I got a chance to eat at one of my favorite restaurants tonight, Big Mamou.  True Cajun style Louisiana cooking compliments of Chef Wayne.  So delish.  Even better? It’s BYOB!  Tonight I chose to imbibe at a local hot spot before dinner so we didn’t take advantage of this option but many others did, some even carting in tailgate style coolers!

The food was amazing as always.  I got the Spinach and Chicken cakes.  I get this 95% of the times I go there because it is SO good.  There are very few foods that I literally enjoy every bite as much as I enjoyed the first.  My husband got the Big Mamou signature dish which was cajun style shrimp and crawfish over rice and seasoned veggies.  Yum.
