Oh yes, it has finally happened.  We have started taking out the Christmas decorations.  Now I wouldn’t say I’m exactly a grinch.  But the idea of filling the house with singing, moving, dancing little trinkets doesn’t exactly excite me.  So each year we have tried a different tact.  Some years we take everything out all at once, like pulling off a band-aid.  Other years we trickle the things out a little at a time.  This year we put the outside lights up and pulled these little guys out for the kids.  This weekend we will get our tree and put everything else out all at once.  Afterwards I will look around and think, “what is my problem?”  because every year once it is all out and the Christmas music streams out of Pandora I feel joyful. Since I became a mother Christmas has become more and more meaningful to me.  These little Christmas Carolers can sing their sweet song as many times as they want, until December 26th when they go back in the box.
