Photo blog day twenty-five, September 7, 2010

This post really has no intent other than for me to tell everyone how much I still love my “Nifty Fifty” lens.  This shot is as it was taken in the camera, only a bit of cropping was done.  This lens may be small but it sure is powerful.  The color saturation and sharpness never fail me.  If you only have $90 to spend on a new lens get yourself a 1.8 50 mm and you will not be sorry. It can shoot beautiful portraits and close ups as well as simply landscapes like this one.  I never owned a prime lens before this one and can’t wait to get another.
